1. Who we are
FrameBind is operated by ALGO Strategy, a sole trader (eenmanszaak) established in the Netherlands and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under no. 42079860(“we”, “us”). You can reach us at contact@framebind.com.
2. The service
FrameBind generates natively-editable presentation files (.pptx) from a prompt or an uploaded document, using AI. You review and approve a plan before generation and review a draft before delivery. The service is provided on a per-deck basis across three tiers (Standard, Pro, Studio) with different slide limits and features.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use FrameBind.
- You must give accurate account information and keep access to your email secure, since sign-in is by email link.
- You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Credits, prices and payment
- The service is paid for with per-deck credits. One credit generates one deck of its tier. There is no subscription and credits do not expire.
- Prices are shown at checkout. Purchases are sold and processed through Stripe, which acts as our merchant of record; by buying credits you also agree to Stripe's terms.
- Taxes / VAT. Prices are stated in US dollars. As our merchant of record, Stripe is responsible for collecting and remitting any VAT or sales tax due on your purchase; any applicable tax is shown at checkout.
- Credits are tied to your account and are not transferable or exchangeable for cash, except as set out in our Refunds Policy or as required by law.
5. Your content and rights
- You keep all rights you have in the prompts, documents, and templates you provide (“your inputs”) and in the slides and files we generate for you (“your decks”). We don't claim ownership of either.
- You grant us the limited licence needed to process your inputs and store your decks solely to provide the service to you (for example, sending your prompt to the AI model and saving the result).
- You confirm you own or are allowed to use everything you upload, and that doing so does not infringe anyone else's rights.
- Because AI outputs are generated, we can't guarantee a given deck is unique; another user's separate request could produce similar results.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use FrameBind to:
- create or upload content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, or that violates others' privacy or IP rights;
- upload material you don't have the rights to, or others' personal data without a lawful basis;
- attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its rate limits, or resell access without our permission.
We may suspend or remove content or accounts that breach these terms.
7. AI output — important disclaimer
FrameBind uses AI to generate text, layouts, charts, and imagery. AI can make mistakes: facts, figures, citations, and images may be inaccurate, out of date, or inappropriate, and stock or generated images may not fit your topic. You are responsible for reviewing every deck before you use it, and FrameBind does not provide professional, legal, financial, or other advice. The draft-review step is provided so you can catch and correct issues before download.
8. Availability and “as is”
We work to keep FrameBind available and reliable, but we provide it “as is” and can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Where the law implies guarantees we cannot exclude (including your mandatory consumer rights), nothing here limits them.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your non-excludable consumer rights). Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the deck(s) giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on AI-generated content you did not review.
10. Refunds
How refunds and your EU right of withdrawal work is set out in our Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using FrameBind and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms or use the service unlawfully. Unused credits remain subject to the Refunds Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, give you reasonable notice. Continuing to use FrameBind after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands, without affecting the mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence. If you're a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. We'd always rather resolve an issue directly first — email contact@framebind.com.
